Six Types of Chocolate We Produce
What you can buy at our MG Road workshop or order for delivery
Each category below represents what we actually produce in our small facility. We do not make everything at once. Some items are seasonal or made to order. Prices and availability change based on ingredient costs and production schedules.
Classic Chocolate Bars
Our standard product. Rectangular bars weighing 50 grams each. We make these in six cocoa percentages: 55%, 65%, 75%, 85% for dark chocolate, plus two milk chocolate versions at 38% and 45% cocoa.
What makes them different:

Single origin: All bars from one batch use beans from the same farm in Chikmagalur

Two ingredients only: Cocoa and organic cane sugar, nothing else added to dark varieties

Longer shelf life: Stay fresh for 8 months when stored in cool dry conditions

Standard size: Easier to compare percentages when trying different cocoa levels

Chocolate Truffles
Soft ganache centers coated in tempered chocolate. We make these fresh twice a week in small batches. Each truffle weighs about 15 grams. Sold in boxes of 6, 9, or 12 pieces.
How truffles differ from bars:

Cream content: Ganache filling contains dairy cream, making them softer and richer than solid bars

Short shelf life: Must be eaten within 5 days, cannot be kept long term like bars

Temperature sensitive: Need refrigeration in Bangalore heat, bars do not

More labor intensive: Each piece hand-rolled and dipped, takes 3 hours per batch

Gift Sets
Pre-arranged assortments in presentation boxes. We offer three standard sets: Tasting Set (6 bars at different percentages), Mixed Set (3 bars plus 6 truffles), and Premium Set (9 bars in wooden box).

Vegan Chocolate
All our dark chocolate bars from 65% to 85% are already vegan. This category includes special vegan milk chocolate made with coconut cream instead of dairy. Currently one variety at 42% cocoa content.
Differences from regular products:

Dark bars are naturally vegan: No difference in production or ingredients from our regular dark chocolate

Vegan milk uses coconut: Coconut cream powder replaces dairy, adds slight coconut flavor

Different melting point: Coconut fat melts faster than cocoa butter, softer texture in warm weather

Limited to one flavor: We only make plain vegan milk chocolate, no variations yet
Dark: ₹180 - ₹250 / Vegan milk: ₹280 per 50g bar
Gluten-Free Chocolate
Most of our chocolate is already gluten-free because we use only cocoa, sugar, and sometimes dairy. We mark products as certified gluten-free after testing each batch at a lab in Bangalore that checks for cross contamination.
Why we test for gluten-free certification:

No gluten ingredients used: Cocoa beans, cane sugar, and dairy cream do not contain gluten naturally

Cross contamination risk: Our sugar supplier processes wheat in same facility, requires testing

Lab verification: We send samples every month to test below 20 ppm gluten threshold

Excludes add-in varieties: Chocolate with cookies or wafer pieces cannot be certified gluten-free

Chocolate with Add-ins
Bars with extra ingredients mixed in before molding. Current options: roasted almonds, cashews, dried cranberries, orange peel, sea salt. We make these in 65% dark chocolate only, 60 gram bars instead of standard 50 grams.
How add-in bars differ from plain chocolate:

Sourcing complexity: Must find organic nuts and fruits that meet our standards, limits variety

Preparation time: Nuts need roasting separately, fruits need chopping, adds 2 hours to process

Shorter shelf life: Nuts go rancid faster than chocolate, 4-5 months maximum freshness

Uneven distribution: Add-ins settle during cooling, some pieces have more nuts than others
-
Allergen considerations: Produced on shared equipment, not safe for severe nut allergies

Three ways to get chocolate from our MG Road location

Workshop Purchase
Visit our location on MG Road Tuesday through Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM. See available stock and taste samples before buying. Pay cash or UPI. Take products home immediately.
Phone Order
Call +91 92123 43999 at least 24 hours ahead. Tell us which products and quantities you want. We confirm availability and total cost. Pick up at workshop or arrange Bangalore delivery for orders above ₹1,500.
Corporate Orders
For orders of 50 bars or more, email contact@choconature.com with your requirements. We can customize gift sets and provide bulk pricing. Need 2 weeks advance notice for large quantities. Invoice and GST receipt provided.
Important: We do not ship products outside Bangalore. All orders must be picked up at workshop or delivered within city limits. Truffles require same-day pickup due to cream content. Gift sets can be pre-ordered for specific dates.

Bangalore Delivery
We deliver within Bangalore city limits for orders above ₹1,500. Delivery takes 2-3 hours during business days. Our delivery person uses a two-wheeler with an insulated box to keep chocolate cool.

120 Bars Monthly to Koramangala IT Office, 180 Bars for Wedding
Four current corporate clients, 50-500 bars per order, 50% advance payment required
Our production capacity is limited. We make 25-30 kilograms of chocolate per week, which equals roughly 500-600 bars. Corporate orders compete with retail stock. We cannot fulfill last-minute bulk requests. Current corporate clients include three IT companies in Koramangala and two restaurants in Indiranagar.
🍫 Monthly Office Subscriptions
One IT company orders 120 bars monthly for their Bangalore team. We deliver first Tuesday each month with GST invoice. They rotate between 65%, 75%, and milk chocolate based on employee feedback surveys. Started April 2024, renewed three times already.
Example cost: 100 bars at ₹200 average = ₹20,000 minus 10% discount = ₹18,000 monthly
🍫 Wedding and Conference Supply
Last month we supplied 180 bars for a Bangalore wedding reception. Broke each 50g bar into 4 pieces for 720 small portions. Delivered to venue 2 hours before event in insulated boxes. Guest feedback was positive according to couple who hired us.
Recent example: 200 bars for 800 guests = ₹40,000 including delivery and breaking into portions
🍫 Logo Printing on Gift Boxes
We work with printing shop in Shivajinagar for custom box lids. Send logo as AI or EPS file. Printer makes plate, charges us ₹5,000 setup. Then prints your logo on magnetic-close box lids. Minimum 200 boxes because printer charges same setup fee regardless of quantity. Most recent order: tech company logo for Diwali gifts.
Full cost: ₹5,000 setup + (₹150 per box × quantity) + chocolate inside boxes
🍫 Weekly Restaurant Deliveries
Two cafes in Indiranagar get weekly chocolate from us for their dessert menu. One uses our 75% dark for molten lava cake, other melts 55% for hot chocolate drinks. We deliver Thursday mornings, they pay within 15 days via bank transfer. Product info sheets list cocoa percentage and origin farm for their menu cards.
Typical order: 20 bars weekly = ₹4,000 per week, gets 15% off at ₹3,400 total

Use our 55%-75% bars for cooking instead of baking chocolate
Hot Chocolate
Basic drinking chocolate using our 55% or 65% bars. Takes 5 minutes to make.
Ingredients:

30g chocolate bar, chopped
-
200ml milk (dairy or plant-based)

1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
Method: Heat milk in pan until steaming. Add chopped chocolate. Whisk until melted. Add sugar if using 65% or higher percentage. Serve immediately.
Chocolate Sauce
Pourable sauce for desserts. Works with any dark percentage.
Ingredients:

50g chocolate bar

100ml cream
-
1 tablespoon butter
Method: Chop chocolate into small pieces. Heat cream in microwave for 30 seconds. Pour over chocolate. Wait 1 minute. Stir until smooth. Add butter. Stir again. Use warm over ice cream or cake.
Simple Brownies
Dense chocolate brownies using 75% dark bar. Makes 12 pieces.
Ingredients:

100g chocolate (75% works best)

100g butter

150g sugar

2 eggs
-
60g flour
Method: Melt chocolate and butter together. Cool 5 minutes. Mix in sugar and eggs. Add flour. Pour into greased 8-inch pan. Bake 180°C for 25 minutes. Center should be slightly soft. Cool completely before cutting.
Recipe tips: Our chocolate has higher cocoa content than supermarket brands. Reduce sugar in recipes by 20% when substituting. Bars with nuts cannot be melted smoothly. Use plain bars for cooking.

Unsure which cocoa percentage suits your taste? Visit our workshop and ask for samples. We let you taste one percentage free. If you want to try multiple percentages, we charge ₹50 which gets deducted from your purchase.
Most people settle on 65% or 75% after tasting. Some prefer our 55% for less bitterness. The 85% is too intense for most customers.
